Appliance Magic

Animal Hospital In Macon, GA

I started the week at an animal hospital in Macon, GA working with a dryer that was taking 3 cycles to dry the clothes.  Upon examination of the dryer I found that the door was not closing properly and the ventilation was less than ideal.  The dryer needs new door catches and I cleaned the exhaust vent going up through the roof.  If a dryer is heating but not drying the clothes, chances are you have lint and/or water built up in your ventilation pipes.  You should disconnect the vent from the dryer and make sure it is clean.  You also want to check the vent from inside the house to outside of the house.  Not only will this problem increase the drying time of your clothes but it could create internal problems or cause a fire.
