Dishwasher Not Washing Macon GA

Landlord was getting his rental ready to be rented and noticed the dishwasher was not working and wanted in repaired.  The dishwasher was getting water but was not spraying.  I pulled the dishwasher out from under the cabinet for easier access and checked the circulation pump.  The circulation pump, as the name describes, keeps the water that is in dishwasher circulating (pumping).  It is the force that supplies the pressure to push the water through the spray arms.  In this case the pump had failed and needed to be replaced.  You can test the pump by removing the wiring harness and checking for resistance across the terminal leads.  No resistance, or an open circuit, indicates a bad pump motor.  The customer did not want to replace the pump.  I hauled the unit away for him.
