Customer had just moved into a new home. His washer had started leaking just before he moved. He called me to find the leak and repair it for him. I got there and started a cycle. While the washer is filling he told me his wife had washed a load that morning and there was no leak. I’m assuming this was his first load washed in the new home. After the washer filled and the cycled started, drained and went through the spin, we didn’t see any water. We came to the conclusion that the washer was not the problem at all. Most likely the problem was from the drain line in the old house being partially clogged and the water was overflowing from there. I have seen this before. Always check that your drain is not the problem.
