Water Heater Repair Warner Robins GA

Today I received a call about a water heater not heating in Warner Robins GA.  The first thing I always do is check for proper power.  Most water heaters operate on 220v – 240v.  The power was good.  Next I checked the elements.  Turn off the breaker or pull the fuse that goes to the water heater.  I disconnect one of the wires going to the terminals on the element.  Either wire is fine.  Next check continuity between the two terminals on the element.  The continuity was fine on the top element but I found an open circuit on the bottom element.  Bad bottom element.  I drained the water heater, replaced the bad element, and put everything back together.
