On this call the customer said the washing machine ( Maytag MAVT754EWW ) would fill up with water but it would not spin or agitate.  She also said that when it stopped working she could smell something burning.  I get there and want to hear what the washer sounds like so I turn it on,

Customer calls and says his dishwasher ( Kenmore 665.17019400 ) is not doing anything.  I got there and removed the front panel and checked the thermal fuse.  Bingo.  Replace the fuse and all is working again.
